Translation business can be exciting! In January 2017, WIONET Poland assisted Hyundai Motor Poland with introducing the brand’s first-ever Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) to the Polish market. At that time we provided the Owner’s Manuals and Warranty Booklets for the first generation of all-electric Hyundai IONIQ. WIONET services included translation, automotive engineering consultancy, desktop-publishing, web publishing, mobile and printing. Since then, the shift towards electric vehicles is constantly gaining momentum. Today, Hyundai IONIQ belongs to the leading contestants in the EV space. And every IONIQ on the Polish roads is equipped with technical publications prepared by our Automotive Team.
This year in Poland we are experiencing another exciting milestone together with the Korean brand. In February 2024, 7 years after welcoming the first Hyundai BEV, we completed the first-ever project related to Hyundai Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV). The Owner’s Manual for hydrogen powered Hyundai NEXO is now available online in the Polish version. All NEXO owners can access the manual at our dedicated website.
Is hydrogen powertrain technology a viable alternative for battery electric vehicles? Today more and more OEMs decide to explore this option. And so does the Polish media group Polsat Plus which recently made a bold move by joining the country’s hydrogen station operators. According to the recent statistics, as of today in Poland we have 6 hydrogen fueling stations in operation, while 13 more projects are currently underway.
